DOUBLE TAAKE started the way most of our favorite things do — between two best friends, a shared closet, and way too many “wait, where did you get that?” moments.

We’re Allie + Abby, the two A’s behind DOUBLE TAAKE. We met in college as big + little, became best friends, and somewhere between borrowing each other’s clothes, sending way too many Pinterest links, and planning outfits for absolutely everything, DOUBLE TAAKE started to take shape.

We wanted to create the pieces that become part of your life — the hoodie your best friend steals, the tee that ends up in every picture from that one summer, the hat you throw on and somehow wear everywhere.

Elevated everyday pieces with a little nostalgia, a little personality, and that where did you get that? feeling.
